Moms Eggless, Milkless Depression Cake
Here's an easy vegitarian cake recipe that has been around since the
Great
Depression. It has no eggs or milk and still comes out light!
And there is little kitchen cleanup because you can mix this cake in
the same pan you bake it in! After you try the chocolate version
try the Spice Cake and Orange Cake versions!
MomsRetro Mix-in-the-Pan Chocolate

1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 TSP. Baking Powder
1 TSP. Baking Soda
1/2 TSP. Salt
3 - 4 TBS. Cocoa Powder

1 TBS. Vinegar
5 TBS. Oil
1 Cup Warm Water
In a 8x8 inch pan, mix dry ingredients together (flour, sugar, powder,
