Huntley & Palmers Black Lotus Tin Dragon Flowers

This is another amazing tin from my collection. It is a flat round tin with an embossed design of a dragon across a landscape of flowers in pink, gold, and blue on a black background. There is a pagoda and bridge in the background. The sides are plain black except for a small pink block with the word LOTUS reversed out in black on the lid. On the bottom side is a tiny mark reading Made in England in white.

The bottom is embossed HUNTLEY & PALMERS BISCUITS, READING, HUYTON (LIVERPOOL) & LONDON ENGLAND. From my research I have discovered another tin like this in the Reading Museum in England.

Kwong Sang Tea Tin

An awesome Chinese tea tin. The contained Kwong Sang Black Tea. This is a lucky 8 sided tin with a lucky red top. The sides are protected by warriors. This was packed in Hong Kong.

Using my California State history as a guide, I’m guessing this tin came over the ancient Pacific Trade routes to the West Coast. If it shipped in the late 1800’s it would have ridden train tracks built by the Chinese in California over the brutal Sierra Pacific passage for sale in the rest of the United States.

Asian Influenced Cherry Blossom and Bird 'Lacquered' Tin

Beautiful vintage tin with a design inspired by fine, lacquered antiques. Blue bird flies above a flowering cherry branch. Design has black, deep blue and red leaves. Gold bamboo on sides and top. Lift off lid. Very pretty design. Few tiny scratches here and there, nothing too big and not very noticeable. Just enough oxidization around the edges to peg this as vintage. Little bit of 'crazing' on the top design.

A Shapely Aluminum Coffee Pot

An Aluminum percolator with a metal bottom. The handle is wood painted black

The lid is topped with glass so you can watch the coffee percolate. It has a spreader, basket and tube. It didn't come with a cord, but I don’t really care. It’s pretty on my shelf without the extra baggage . The spout opening has a little nick. She is 11 1⁄2" tall.

Westinghouse Electric Waffle Iron

This is an early Sears invention. This compact little treasure opens at the top. Waffle iron stands about 4 1/2" tall, 9" long.

Marked on the bottom "S#284284 - Type A, 100 - 110V, 600W, Westinghouse & M. Co. Mansfield, Ohio, Made In USA Patented June-6-05 April-20-09 Patent Applied For".

Vintage Son-Chief Model 680 Drop Side Toaster Retro Kitchen Decor

Vintage Sun Chief Toaster

This is a beautiful, clean vintage Sun Chief Toaster. It has drop sides and is fairly clean inside. It has the attached cord, but given its age it is being sold for decorative purposes only.

The bottom is marked Sun Chief, Series 680, watts 660 volts 115, Sun Chief Electrics Inc, Winsted, Conn USA There is a UL logo underneath. Great vintage kitchen decor!
